6.3 How to clean the pickup roller
For tray 1
For tray 2 and tray 3
If paper jam occurs frequently, clean the pickup roller as descried below.
Clean the pickup roller for the tray 2 and tray 3 in the same procedure.
For the MP tray, clean the pickup roller in the same procedure for the feed roller only. (Pad is
not used.)

Feed roller (small)
1. Pull out the tray.
2. Clean the feeder roller (large) and the feeder roller (small) with
a clean cloth wrung out stringently of clean water.
3. Clean the
pad portion of the tray with a clean cloth wrung out
stringently of clean water.
