If barcode scanning labels are purchased, the individual
media labels are supported if they are acquired from the
sources listed in Table 6-2.
Applying Barcode Labels
All barcode labels are applied to the front of a cartridge.
Depending on the media type, barcode labels are either
stickers that adhere to the front of the cartridge or are cutouts
that slide into an indentation on the front of the cartridge.
See Figure 6-1 on page 14 for more information on applying a
barcode label.
Do not place a barcode label on top of a cartridge. Placing a
barcode label on top of a cartridge can cause an inventory to
fail.
