Special Characters or Cursors
A menu option can be preceded or followed by one or more
of the following special characters or cursors:
When this character follows the option, the next
menu contains more options.
... When these characters follow the option, the next
menu requests or supplies information.
> When this cursor precedes the option, the option is
available for selection. Press the button to select
the option. Press the button to view information
about the option. Press the or button to
select between the previous or next options.
< When this cursor follows the option, you can scroll
predefined values with the and buttons for
the selected option.
^ When this cursor appears below the option, you can
scroll predefined values with the and
buttons for the selected option.
Refer to the Using the Operator Panel on page 4-3 for detailed
information.
Note
If no special
character follows
the option, the
selected action
will commence
immediately.
