Step 6 Set the Main Circuit Breaker switch to OFF.
Power is removed from the Scalar 1000. All Accessor
movements halt immediately.
Step 7 Repeat Step 5 and Step 6 for each additional EM.
Emergency Shutdown
Use the following shutdown procedure only in emergency
situations.
Except in emergency situations, shutdown the Scalar 1000
using the normal shutdown procedure before switching off
the Main Circuit Breaker. Refer to Normal Shutdown on
page 4-9 for more information.
Step 1 Locate the Main Circuit Breaker switch in the lower
right corner at the back of the CM.
See Figure 4-2 on page 4-7 for the location of the
Main Circuit Breaker switch.
Step 2 Set the Main Circuit Breaker switch to OFF.
The Gripper does a controlled gravity descent to the
bottom and Accessor movements halt.
Step 3 For each additional EM:
a. Locate the Main Circuit Breaker switch at the
lower right corner in the back of the CM.
See Figure 4-2 on page 4-7 for the location of the
Main Circuit Breaker switch.
b. Set the circuit breaker to OFF.
Power is removed from the Scalar 1000. All Accessor
movements halt immediately.
