IPEM2 (IP Address of Alternate Element Manager–Working
Memory)
This keyword sets the alternate element manager IP address in working memory.
The alternate element manager IP address is used for event reporting if
communication failure to the primary element manager occurs. Working memory
controls the actual operation of the network. The keyword format is:
IPEM2=<a.b.c.d>

IPEM2X (IP Address of Alternate Element Manager–Auxiliary
Memory)
This keyword sets the alternate element manager IP address in auxiliary memory.
The alternate element manager IP address is used for event reporting if
communication failure to the primary element manager occurs. Auxiliary memory
contains a backup copy of network parameters in working memory (working
memory controls the actual operation of the network). The keyword format is:
IPEM2X=<a.b.c.d>
Parameter Value Description
a 0 to 255 Working memory alternate
element manager IP address
b 0 to 255
c 0 to 255
d 0 to 255
Note: You cannot directly modify network parameters in working
memory.
