Keywords
Keyword Description
PORTAO (Event Reporting Port Number–Working Memory)
This keyword sets the port number for automatic event reporting in working
memory. Working memory controls the actual operation of the network.
Setting AOMERGE=Y does not stop events from being reported to the AO port.
In this case events are reported to the port specified by PORTAO as well as the
command port.
The keyword format is:
PORTAO=<value>
Command Example:
RTRV-EQPT:::SC1087:::PARAMETER=PORTAO;
Response Example:
SYMMBITS 04-06-18 12:01:11
M SC1087 COMPLD
"IMC::PORTA0 = 7589"
;
PORTAOX (Event Reporting Port Number–Auxiliary Memory)
This keyword sets the port number for automatic event reporting in auxiliary
memory. Auxiliary memory contains a backup copy of network parameters in
working memory (working memory controls the actual operation of the network).
Note: If the Automatic Output Merge function is disabled
(AOMERGE=N), responses and commands are carried on a separate
port from automatic events. If the Automatic Output Merge function is
enabled (AOMERGE=Y), events are carried on the
Command/Response Reporting (PORTCDMS) port.
Parameter Value Description
<value> 5001 to 20000 Working memory port number for automatic
event reporting
Note: You cannot directly modify network parameters in working
memory.
