Introduction
Enabling Security
ENT-USER-SECU:[<tid>]:<aid>:<ctag>::<pid>,,SECURITY;
<aid> = User name: up to ten case-insensitive alphanumeric
characters
<pid> = User password: up to ten case-sensitive characters. Must
include at least two non-alphabetic characters and must include at
least one special character: any printing character other than a letter of
the alphabet, a number, a comma, a colon, or a semicolon.
5. Remove the Management card.
6. Set switch S1-1 to On.
7. Insert the Management card.
User Security Levels
Factory-set user security levels are described in Table 1-7. Use Edit User Security
to change a user’s access level (see Chapter 2, Commands for more information).
Note: For Management cards which contain firmware version 4328D,
no special characters are required in the password, but can be used if
desired.

Security Level Accesses
User Users can only edit their password and retrieve information unless a
command security level is set to allow access.
Administration Users are allowed to change configuration.
Security Users are allowed to modify the security database or download new
firmware.
