USESUBRCK (Use Sub Rack)
This keyword provides a method for adding the shelf-identifying prefix for a shelf
that currently contains no expansion shelves. In a multiple shelf system the prefix
provides a method for indentifying a particular response item associated with a
particular shelf (S0 = Master shelf, S1 = first expansion shelf and so forth). For
example, a master shelf and the expansion shelves can have an Output card in slot
4B and the shelf prefix indicates which shelf the card is actually in.
Note that the S0 prefix indicates the master shelf when there are one or more
expansion shelves in the system. USESUBRCK enables the S0 prefix when there
are no expansion shelves attached. This is for consistency with other shelves in the
network that contain expansion shelves, where it might be preferred to have all
shelves providing a shelf prefix. The keyword format is:
USESUBRCK=<value>
