152 TimeHub 5500 TL1 Reference Guide 097-55501-02 Issue 7 – January, 2005
Response Example:
SYMMBITS 04-06-15 12:07:38
M SC1 COMPLD
"CLK1-4:FFOFF-3S,2.000000,COMPL"
"CLK1-4:FFOFF-12S,2.000000,COMPL"
"CLK1-4:FFOFF-48S,2.000000,COMPL"
"CLK1-4:FFOFF-192S,2.000000,COMPL"
"CLK1-4:FFOFF-768S,NA,NA"
"CLK1-4:FFOFF-3072S,NA,NA"
;
The response in this example shows FFOFF values calculated for averaging times
of 3 seconds, 12 seconds, 48 seconds, and 192 seconds for input port 4 of Clock
card 1. The values for averaging times of 768 seconds and 3072 seconds are not
yet available, but do become available as the system collects data.
Frequency Spread
This measurement is displayed in ppm and measures the Frequency Spread
(SPRD) of the input ports at specific averaging times. SPRD is the maximum
difference of FFOFF over all input ports unless some ports have been excluded
from the measurement by the Edit Equipment (ED-EQPT) command.
SPRD is recalculated if a measurement is restarted on a port that is included in the
SPRD calculation. The command format is:
RTRV-PM[-TSG]:[<tid>]:CLK:<ctag>::SPRD;
Response Format:
<sid> <date> <time>
M <ctag> COMPLD
"CLK a:SPRD-a,<monval>,<status>"...
;
The parameters displayed in the response are listed below.
Note: SPRD gives a view of relative performance across all ports. If a
problem is observed (for example, if SPRD is too large), use FFOFF
values for individual ports to diagnose the problem.
