Controller(TEC)canidentifythetractionneutral,forward,fullforward,reverse
andfullreversepositions.Makesurethetractionpedalneutralpositionis
properlyadjustedbeforecalibratingthetractionpedalpositionsensor(see
TractionPedalNeutralAdjustment(page6–49)).
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,lowercuttingdecksandstopengine.
2.TurnkeyswitchtoRUNbutdonotstartengine.
3.AccesstheInfoCenterDisplaySettingsscreen(seeInfoCenterDisplay−
SettingsScreens(page6–35)).EnteringaPersonalIdenticationNumber
(PIN)mayberequiredtoaccessthescreens.
4.AccesstheTractionPedalscreenandpressbutton1tobeginthecalibration
process(Figure193).
5.FollowthepromptsontheInfoCenterdisplayscreentocalibratethetraction
pedalpositionsensororcancelthecalibrationprocessandreturntothe
previousscreenifnecessarybypressingbutton5.
Thecalibrationstepsarelistedinorderbelow:
A.“EnteredTractionPedalTeach−PleaseWait”shouldappearonthe
InfoCenterdisplaytoindicatethetractionpedalcalibrationprocesshas
begun.
B.Returnthetractionpedaltotheneutralposition.
Note:Itmaybeeasiertoperformthefollowingstepbyoperatingthe
tractionpedalbyhand.
C.Slowlypresstractionpedalintheforwarddirectionuntil“NeutralFwd
CapturePassed”appearsontheInfoCenterdisplay.
D.Continuetopressandholdtractionpedaltothefullforwardpositionuntil
“MaxFwdCapturePassed”appearsontheInfoCenterdisplay.
E.Allowtractionpedaltoreturntotheneutralposition.
