Chapter 2. Setting Up 9500 MXC CT

Wizard window. Click
Next on the Wizard.
4. In New Connection Type, select
Connect to a network at my workplace and
click
Next.
5. In Network Connection, select
Dial-up connection and click Next.
6. In Select a Device, select the previously installed 9500 MXC V.24 modem
driver, and click
Next.
7. In Connection Name, enter a name, such as 9500 MXC, and click
Next.
8. In Phone Number to Dial, enter a random telephone number, such as 1234,
and click
Next.
9. In Connection Availability, select one of the two options:
Anyone's use or
My use only. Click Next.
The wizard confirms a successful completion.
10. Click
Add a shortcut, to display a shortcut on your desktop.
11. Click
Finish.
The 9500 MXC CT - Start up window is displayed.
12. The V.24 dial-up connection is now installed, click
Cancel to disconnect.
