Using rate control
Q
The variable rate control is used to precisely control the
application
rate of the product depending on the position
on the field.
There are 4 options for using rate control:
Setpoint:
A fixed setpoint can be entered for the
application rate. This setpoint is transmitted to the
implement and the spreading/application is controlled
accordingly. The setpoints and actual values are
documented.
see page 199.
Using jobs that contain application maps: In
a Farm
Management Information System, jobs can be created
containing application maps for the application rate or
other site-specific settings. The jobs are processed and
documented with the AMAPAD.
see page 195.
Adding application maps to an exisitng job:
Application
maps in shape format containing application
maps for application rates or other site-specific settings
can be added to a created job. The application maps can
come from a service provider, an app or an FMIS, and
can be used for controlled spreading/application or other
site-specific settings.
see page 196.
Peer control: The application
rates can be measured
and calculated by a sensor that is also installed on the
vehicle and transmits geo-specific application rates or
other site-specific settings to the implement.
see page 201.
