13 Drain distilled water from the tubes.
a Discard all of the distilled water from the beaker in which the bottle cap with nozzle for hemolysis washing solution
was placed.
b Touch <4. Hemolysis washing sol.>.
• The distilled water will be drained from the tubes for hemolysis washing solution.
• The [Drain menu] screen will appear again.
c Touch to return to the standby screen.
14 Wash the nozzles.
a Wash the nozzles for eluents and hemolysis washing solution with distilled water, and blot with gauze.
• Wipe the nozzles all the way to the base.
b Wrap the bottle caps with nozzle in gauze, place them in the plastic bag and put the bag on the bottle tray.
• The tubes and fluid level detection sensor cord can remain connected to the instrument.
15 Discard liquid waste.
a Discard liquid waste remaining in the bottle for liquid waste.
16 Turn off the main power.
a Press the standby switch to turn off the power.
b Press the “ ” side of the main power switch on the rear panel to
turn off the main power.
c Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
17 Clean the chambers.
a Remove and clean the chambers.

NOTE:
If you store the nozzles without washing, fluid may crystallize and clog the nozzles.
