4.5 Usage patterns of tractor hydraulic system for driving of operated parts
and other elements of coupled hydraulically operated machines and units
The hydraulic control system for lift linkages on the BELARUS-82.3 tractors pro-
vides means for oil extraction for operation of the machines coupled. Meanwhile the follow-
ing variants are possible:
- oil extraction by unidirectional and bidirectional hydraulic cylinders (hereinafter re-
ferred to as hydrocylinders);
- replenishment of oil volume in the tank caused by filling of the machine cylinder
chambers and hardware. It is assured after trial of performance of the hydraulic system of
the tractor with an implement;
- in case of oil extraction for driving permanent action units (for instance, hydromo-
tors), the machine’s applicability shall be obligatorily agreed upon with the tractor’s manu-
facturer factory.
While operating hydraulically operated machines with hydraulic motors, the drain
line of the motor shall be obligatorily connected to a special tractor output to ensure free oil
drain into the tank by-passing the distributor.
ATTENTION: FOR ENSURING OF THE REQUIRED ROTATIONAL SPEED OF
THE HYDROMOTOR OF THE MACHINES COUPLED, CERTAIN OIL SUPPLY IS NEC-
ESSARY. HYDRAULIC FLUID FEEDING ON THE BELARUS-82.3 TRACTORS DE-
PENDS ON THE ENGINE RPM; THEREFORE THE MACHINE’S HYDRAULIC DRIVE
SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH ITS OWN FLOW ADJUSTING VALVE!
In case of use of outputs of the tractor hydraulic system for maintenance of the ma-
chine coupled, it is necessary to provide the required volume of oil in tank. Extraction of oil
by cylinders of the machine coupled shall not exceed 8 liters.
Excessive oil extraction during coupling increases the load on tractor hydraulic sys-
tem significantly. At long-term use of the hydraulic drive it is necessary to track the tem-
perature range in the hydraulic system.
Level check in tractor hydraulic tank and its refill shall be carried out with retracted
cylinder rods (plungers) both of the tractor and of the machine coupled. It is strictly prohib-
ited to fill in the oil when cylinder rods (plungers) are extended as it may result in the tank
overflow and blow-out of the hydraulic drive components by the excessive oil being dis-
placed from the cylinders during the subsequent lowering (raising) of the working attach-
ments.
Major characteristics of the HLL of the BELARUS-82.3 tractors for driving the work-
ing attachments and other components of the hydraulically operated machines and units
coupled are shown in Table 4.5.1.
