4.3.3 RLL components adjustment rules
4.3.3.1 Buckles
4.3.3.1.1 General information
Buckles are used to limit side sway of lower links of the lift linkage both in transport and
in operating position. Your tractor can be equipped with telescopic buckles or outer turnbuck-
les. On request, inner turnbuckles may be installed.
ATTENTION: IN CASE OF CHANGE OF LENGTH OF A LIFTING ROD, IT IS NECES-
SARY TO ADJUST BUCKLE LOCKS AGAIN IN TRANSPORT AND OPERATING POSI-
TIONS. NON-FULFILLMENT OF THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN BREAK OF LIMIT-
ING BUCKLES OR OTHER DAMAGES!
4.3.3.1.2 Telescopic buckles
The rear end of telescopic buckle 1 (Figure 4.3.2) is connected to the lower link 2, and
its front end is connected to bracket 3.
1 – telescopic buckle; 2 –lower link; 3 – bracket; 4 – additional axis.

ATTENTION: WHEN INSTALLING THE FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON
THE LOWER LINK AXES (EX-WORKS DELIVERY), THE TELESCOPIC BUCKLES MUST
ONLY BE INSTALLED ON THE SECOND BOTTOM HOLES OF THE BRACKETS (POSITION
2 IN FIGURE 4.3.3) TO AVOID BREAKAGE! DO NOT USE THE POSITIONS SHOWN IN
FIGURE 4.3.3 ON BRACKETS 1, 3 AND 4!
ATTENTION: WHEN INSTALLING THE FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON
THE ADDITIONAL AXLES 4 (FIGURE 4.3.2), IN ORDER TO AVOID BREAKAGE, THE TEL-
ESCOPIC BUCKLES MUST ONLY BE INSTALLED ON THE UPPER HOLES OF THE
BRACKETS (POSITION 4 IN FIGURE 4.3.3)! DO NOT USE THE POSITIONS SHOWN IN
FIGURE 4.3.3 ON BRACKET 1, 2 AND 3!

During tractor operation, the telescopic buckles shall always be blocked in one of the
three available positions:
- partial blocking of buckles in operating position;
- full blocking of buckles in operating position;
- full blocking of buckles in transport position.
During operation with some implements, it is necessary to provide for swaying of the
implement in each side for not less than 125 mm or other distance in compliance with the op-
eration manual of the machine (implement). For this purpose, ensure partial blocking of buck-
les in operating position.
