2.10 Tractor pedals
2.10.1 Pressing pedal 19 (Figure 2.1.1) disengages the clutch.
2.10.2 Pressing pedal 22 (Figure 2.1.1) brakes the rear left wheel.
2.10.3 Pressing pedal 23 (Figure 2.1.1) brakes the rear right wheel. A joint plate of
the brake pedals is intended for simultaneous braking with the right and left brakes.
2.10.4 Pressing pedal 24 (Figure 2.1.1) increases the engine speed.
2.11 Gear shifting
Gear shifting is carried out by four levers: GB range shifting lever 8 (Figure 2.11.1),
GB gear shifting lever 5, reduction gear control lever 3 and reverse reduction gear control
lever 1.
A required range, gear, reduction gear pass (a decelerating pass - a symbol of the
"turtle", an accelerating pass a symbol of the "hare"), as well as reverse reduction gear
pass (a forward travel pass has a "forward" symbol, a reverse travel pass has a “back-
ward” symbol) is selected in accordance with shifting diagrams 7, 6, 2 and 4, as shown in
Figure 2.11.1.
Ranges and gears are switched by separate levers 8 and 5: lever 8 engages a
range (1
st
(lower) or 2
nd
(higher)), lever 5 engages a gear.
GB range shifting lever has no fixed neutral position, so either the I-st or the II-nd
GB range is always engaged.
Reduction gear control lever 3 shall be in the engaged (fixed) position during the
operation of the tractor: forward - accelerating pass ("hare"), backward - decelerating pass
("turtle"). Reverse reduction gear control lever 1, while the tractor is running, shall be in the
engaged (fixed) position: forward - forward gear pass ("forward") or backward reverse
gear pass ("backward").

ing lever.

ATTENTION: THERE IS NO REVERSE GEAR IN THE GB OF THE TRACTOR
EQUIPPED WITH A REVERSE REDUCTION GEAR GROUP. THE TRAVEL DIRECTION
IS CHOSEN BY SWITCHING ON AN APPROPRIATE REVERSE REDUCTION GEAR
PASS!
