4.4 Tow hitches
4.4.1 General information
The BELARUS-82.3 tractor can be equipped with the following elements of the tow
hitches: a non-rotating yoke, a long non-automatic rotating yoke with a 30mm diameter
kingpin in accordance with GOST 32774, a non-automatic rotating yoke in accordance with
GOST 32774 and ISO 6489-2, an automatic rotating yoke according to ISO 6489-2, a PI-
TON-type element according to ISO 6489-4, a non-standard PITON-type element, a draw
bar of category 2 according to ISO 6489-3, a draw bar of category 2 according to GOST
32774, a draw bar according to STB 2028, a tow hook, a cross-bar, a twin cross-bar.
The listed tow hitches ensure the connection and transportation of trailers, semi-
trailers, trailed and semi-trailed machines, the parameters of which meet the requirements
specified in the tables of this section, and the trailing appliances of which ensure compati-
bility with connection dimensions.
The rear mating surface of the rear axle body has a bracket attached, which has
vertical guide grooves with a number of holes. This bracket provides fastening in various
height positions of such elements as yokes and PITON-type elements, as well as fastening
of a draw bar or a tow hook.

ATTENTION: DO NOT USE THE TOW HITCH AS A FOOTSTEP!
ATTENTION: VERTICAL LOAD AT THE HITCH POINT MUST NOT BE DIRECTED UP!
ATTENTION: HEIGHT ABOVE THE GROUND OF A TRAILING APPLIANCE OF A
TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER OR THE MACHINE MUST BE EQUAL TO THE HEIGHT
ABOVE THE GROUND OF THE RESPECTIVE ELEMENT OF THE TRACTOR TOW
HITCH SO THAT THE EYELET IS ARRANGED HORIZONTALLY WITH A PERMISSIBLE
DEVIATION ± 3°, WHEN THE TRACTOR, AS WELL AS THE TRAILER, SEMI-TRAILER
OR MACHINE ARE LOCATED ON A HORIZONTAL SURFACE!
