5.7 Tools, fixtures and measuring devices for maintenance service and repair
For maintenance service and repair it is required to use the following tools, fixtures
and measuring devices:
- areometer or density gage for measuring electrolyte density with minimum scale
value not higher than 1,15 g/cm
3
, maximum scale value – not lower than 1,31 g/cm
3
, with
measuring inaccuracy not more than 0,01 g/cm
3
;
- multimeter to monitor electric chain and electrical equipment operability, with the
opportunity of measuring: constant and alternating voltage – from 1 mV to 1000 V, direct
and alternating current – from 20 mA to 20 A, resistance – from 20 Ohm to 20 megohm.
Measuring inaccuracy of the multimeter shall not exceed 30% of the tolerance monitored;
- device KI-4870 GOSNITI for checking tightness of the inlet duct;
- hydraulic manometer with the opportunity of measuring pressure of oil and hydrau-
lic liquids with measurement range from 0 to 50 MPa with a flexible extender (tube) and
tips for connection to threaded openings. Measuring inaccuracy of the hydraulic manome-
ter shall not exceed 30% of the tolerance monitored;
- ruler GOST 7502-98 or tape GOST 427-75 for measuring engine cooling liquid
level, belt tension, electrolyte level in combination with a glass tube with diameter from 4 to
10 mm, for adjusting tractor units and systems with measuring inaccuracy of not more than
30% of the tolerance monitored;
- torque wrenches for tightening threaded connections having measuring inaccura-
cy not more than 30% of the tolerance monitored;
- manometer under GOST 9921-81 to monitor tire inflation pressure with a scale
range from 50 kPa to 300 kPa and a scale division of not more than 10 kPa;
- manometer - 1,6 MPa-1 GOST 2405-80 to monitor pneumatic system pressure
(other devices having metrological specifications identical to the manometer M-1,6 MPa-1
for pneumatic system pressure monitoring may be used);
- trammel with a measurement limit of 150 mm and a division value of not more
than 0,1 mm according to GOST 166-89 for speed sensor adjustment;
- checking fixture 8538-7367-01 for checking and adjustment of tension of the con-
ditioner compressor drive belt;
- dynamometer DPR-0,1 GOST 13837-79 to monitor the turning force of the knuck-
le of the FDA wheel gear group;
- dynamometer-endfloatmeter for measuring steering wheel angular play;
- rack-type tool for radiator ribs alignment;
- set of screw keys GOST 2839-80 for operating with threaded connections;
- set of fitter and assembler screwdrivers GOST 17199-88 for operating with
screwed and threaded connections;
- wheel chocks for prevention of spontaneous tractor movement during mainte-
nance services or repair;
- supporting blocks for machine uplift with lifting capacity not less than 10 tons;
- funnels for refilling coolant, oils and other tractor hydraulic liquids;
- tanks for discharge of waste oils and liquids with a volume of not less than that
specified in column 8 of Table 5.8.1 “List of the BELARUS-82.3 FLM (fuel and lubrication
materials)”.
Instead of the specified tools, fixtures and measuring devices it is permissible to use
other tools, fixtures and measuring devices having identical metrological specifications.
