4.11 Features of the tractor application in special conditions
4.11.1 Tractor operation in areas with rough terrain. Possibility of the tractor applica-
tion for laying of haylage
Operator working in the fields and roads with slopes coming downwards or up-
wards, shall be very careful and attentive.
Technical characteristics of the general-purpose agricultural machines coupled in
the structure of MTU ensure their safe and proper operation in working field spaces with a
slope not exceeding 9 degrees.
ATTENTION: THE BELARUS-82.3 TRACTORS ARE INAPPROPRIATE FOR OP-
ERATION WITH THE GENERAL-PURPOSE MACHINES AT UPLAND ENVIRONMENT
INCLUDING ON SHARP INCLINES. THEREFORE THE TRACTORS ARE NOT
EQUIPPED WITH SPECIAL-PURPOSE DEVICES, FOR EXAMPLE ALARMS OF ULTI-
MATE TILT!
ATTENTION: APPLICATION OF THE BELARUS-82.3 TRACTORS FOR GRASS
(SILAGE OR HAYLAGE) PUDDLING IN TRENCHES AND PITS IS NOT ALLOWED!
4.11.2 Application of substances for the purpose of chemical treatment
The cabin corresponds to category 2 under EN 15695-1:2009. The cabin of this
category provides protection from dust but not from aerosols and vapor ingress; therefore
the tractor shall not be used in conditions requiring protection from aerosol and vapor in-
gress.
The cabin is equipped with ventilation, heating and conditioning system according to
GOST 12.2.120. In ventilation system there are two paper filters with performance capa-
bilities according to GOST ISO 14269-5. The cabin design ensures its air-tightness under
GOST ISO 14269.
ATTENTION: THE CABIN OF THE BELARUS-82.3 TRACTORS CAN NOT PRO-
TECT FROM POSSIBLE DAMAGING EFFECT OF SUBSTANCES USED FOR CHEMI-
CAL TREATMENT OF AGRICULTURAL PLANTS AND SOILS INCLUSIVE OF SPRAY
TREATMENT. THEREFORE, WHEN USING CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES, THE OPERA-
TOR SHALL WEAR INDIVIDUAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE OPERATING CONDITIONS!
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO PLACE SUBSTANCES USED FOR CHEMICAL TREAT-
MENT OF AGRICULTURAL PLANTS AND SOILS IN THE CABIN.
THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT ENTER THE CABIN WEARING CLOTHES OR
SHOES CONTAMINATED WITH SUBSTANCES USED FOR CHEMICAL TREATMENT
OF AGRICULTURAL PLANTS AND SOILS.
For safe and proper application of the specified substances it is necessary to com-
ply with the instructions written on labels and documents accompanying such substances.
It is compulsory for the operator to have all individual protective equipment and
specialized clothing (working suit and closed footwear, etc.), corresponding to the operat-
ing conditions and current safety requirements.
If the use of a breathing mask inhaler is required for chemical treatment by the ap-
plication data sheet of the substance, it shall be used inside the tractor cabin.
4.11.3 Operation in forest
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE BELARUS-82.3 TRACTORS FOR PERFOR-
MANCE OF ANY WORK IN A FOREST, INCLUDING BEING COUPLED WITH CLAM-
SHELL LOADER, TRAILING EQUIPMENT, SPECIAL-PURPOSE FORESTRY MACHIN-
ERY DESIGNED FOR GATHERING, LOADING, AND TRANSPORT OF TREES, AND
THEIR UNLOADING, SORTING AND WAREHOUSING.
ATTENTION: ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE THE BELARUS-82.3 TRACTORS
ARE DESIGNED FOR, A SPECIAL OPERATOR POSITION PROTECTION DEVICE
(OPS) IS NOT PROVIDED IN ITS DESIGN, INCLUSIVE OF SPECIAL ATTACHMENT
POINTS FOR THIS DEVICE. THEREFORE THE TRACTOR SHALL NOT BE OPERATED
IN CONDITIONS WHEN THERE IS A HAZARD OF TREES, THEIR BRANCHES AND
SINGLE PARTS OF THE EQUIPMENT ATTACHED PENETRATING INTO THE OPERA-
TOR’S CABIN!
