2.21.2 Connection of electrical equipment of coupled machines through socket block
To control the working process of coupled machines, installation of control equipment
(control consoles), which is part of the the coupled machine supply, is allowed in the cab.
Coupled machines are equipped with various electrical and electronic units, the ac-
tivity of which can influence readings of tractor instruments. Thus, the electrical instru-
ments that are part of agricultural implements’ equipment, shall have a certificate of elec-
tromagnetic compatibility in accordance with the international requirements.
Besides the socket to connect coupled agricultural equipment, BELARUS-82.3 trac-
tors are equipped with extra sockets. The sockets assembly is shown in Figure 2.21.2.
1 RA DL, FDA drive, rear PTO control panel; 2 socket for connection of coupled
equipment; 3 – socket for additional equipment.
Figure 2.21.2 Electrical socket unit
Power to sockets 2 and 3 (figure 2.21.2) is supplied after the accumulator battery
(“ground”) is turned on.
Maximum current loads on the sockets are as follows:
- coupled equipment socket 25 A;
- additional equipment socket 10 A.
Fuses of sockets 2 и 3 are shown subsection 2.18Cutout fuses and relays.”
Socket counterparts are enclosed to tractor spare parts, tools and accessories.
ATTENTION: WHEN CONNECTING ELECTRICAL LOAD, STRICTLY OBSERVE
THE POLARITY, SPECIFIED ON ELECTRICAL PLUGS!
ATTENTION: WHEN CONNECTING THE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OF COU-
PLED IMPLEMENTS TO THE SOCKETS UNIT, CONSULT YOUR DEALER SINCE
WRONG CONNECTION OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OF IMPLEMENTS MAY RE-
SULT IN BREAKDOWN OF TRACTOR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT!
2.21.3 Additional connection options for electrical equipment of coupled machines
Apart from connecting coupled machines electrical equipment to sockets 2 and 3
(figure 2.21.2), it may be connected to the following elements of tractor electrical equip-
ment as well:
1. Two-pole socket (ISO 4165:2001), located on the body of the seven-lead socket
(terminal No. 8) permissible consumption current is not higher than 8 or 12A, depending
on the socket type (the permissible consumption current value is indicated on the socket
housing), the electrical circuit is protected by a fuse in tractor electrical equipment;
2. Tractor alternator.
- “+” to terminal “В+” of the alternator.
- “–“ to engine housing.
A pendant fuse should be installed in the harness from the alternator to the machine
EE. The pendant fuse should be installed as close to the alternator as possible.
ATTENTION: WHEN CONNECTING THE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OF COU-
PLED IMPLEMENTS TO THE TRACTOR, CONSULT YOUR DEALER SINCE WRONG
CONNECTION OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OF IMPLEMENTS MAY RESULT IN
BREAKDOWN OF TRACTOR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT!
