The tires of the tractors with no trailer brake drive are inflated through the tire inflat-
ing valve, which is located on the pneumatic compressor.
Inflate the tires through the tire inflating valve as follows:
- undo the winged nut or remove cap 2 (Figure 3.2.4) of fitting 3;
- connect the tire inflation hose to air bleeding fitting 3 and to the tire valve;
- activate the air compressor 1 and inflate the tire up to the required pressure. Use a
tire manometer to control the pressure;
- disconnect the hose from the tire valve and the air bleeding fitting;
- turn off air compressor 1 and do the winged nut or mount cap 2 on fitting 3 of tire
inflation valve 4.
1 – pneumatic compressor; 2 – winged nut or cap; 3 – fitting; 4 – tire inflation valve

3.2.8.4 Precautions for wheel repair and tire inflation
When mounting a tire on wheel rim, it is not allowed to exceed the mounting pres-
sure indicated on the tire sidewall as an icon as presented in Figure 3.2.5, since exceeding
the mounting pressure can result in an explosion. When mounting a tubeless tire to the
rim, use of petroleum products (gasoline, kerosene etc.) is prohibited due to the risk of ex-
plosion.

Tires are heavy-weight. Working with tires without using the proper equipment can
result in severe injuries.
Tire and wheel repair shall be carried out only by a qualified specialist worker. If the
tire has completely lost its air-tightness, the tire together with its wheel shall be handed
over to a tire repair center or your dealer.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO CARRY OUT WELDING WORK ON WHEEL RIM AND DISK
UNTIL THE TIRE IS REMOVED. INSIDE OF TIRES, WHICH ARE UNDER PRESSURE,
AN AIR-GAS MIXTURE CAN FORM WHICH INFLAMES AT HIGH TEMPERATURES
DURING WELDING OPERATIONS ON DISK OR RIM OF THE WHEEL. REMOVING AIR
OR LOOSENING TIRE’S SEATING ON THE RIM (TIRE BEAD SET-OFF) DOES NOT
ELIMINATE THE HAZARD. SUCH SITUATION CAN ARISE REGARDLESS OF WHETH-
ER THE TIRES ARE INFLATED OR NOT. BEFORE WELDING ON DISK OR RIM OF
THE WHEEL, IT IS MANDATORY THAT THE TIRE BE COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM
WHEEL RIM.
