4.10.5 Procedure of filling tires with water or aqueous solution
Filling the tire with liquid shall be carried out in the following order:
- jack up (lift up) the tractor;
- turn wheel 2 (figure 4.10.1) so that valve 1 is on its top;
- screw out the spool and put a combined “air-water” valve 2 (figure 4.10.2), through
which water (solution) is filled in and air is removed from the tire at the same time;
- fill up the water (solution);
- after filling up, withdraw the combined valve and screw the spool in, and adjust inner
pressure to normal operating pressure.
ATTENTION: PRESSURE OF WATER (SOLUTION)-FILLED TIRES SHALL BE
CHECKED ONLY WHEN THE VALVE IS IN THE TOP POSITION, OTHERWISE WATER
ENTERING THE TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE CAN CAUSE PRESSURE GAUGE FAIL-
URE!

4.10.6 Procedure of partial release of water or aqueous solution from tires
For partial liquid drain the following shall be carried out:
- unload the wheel with liquid: jack up the wheel so that it does not touch the ground;
- place the wheel in such a way that the valve is in the bottom position;
- screw the spool out and drain water or non-freezing solution to the level of the
valve lower position.
