Service stuff qualification requirements for tractors “BELARUS-82.3” operation:
- only qualified personnel who have had special training and been instructed on safety
requirements, have license documents for tractor driving of due form determined by the legis-
lation, and have received admission to operate a certain tractor, are allowed to operate the
tractor.
- if tractor owner (or any person liable for tractor operation) does not operate the tractor
himself, he shall make sure that before starting operations all persons associated with the use
of that tractor have been duly instructed on safety operation requirements and on correct cou-
pling of implements with the tractor, and have studied the tractor operation manual.
ATTENTION: OWNERS AND OFFICIALS OR OTHER PERSONS RESPONSIBLE
FOR THE TECHNICAL CONDITION AND OPERATION OF THE TRACTOR SHALL NOT AL-
LOW THE TRACTOR FOR ROAD TRAFFIC AND ITS COUPLING WITH IMPLEMENTS, OR
ADMIT OPERATORS FOR DRIVING THE TRACTOR IN CONTRAVENTION OF CURRENT
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND THE PRESENT OPERATION MANUAL!
ATTENTION: BEFORE STARTING THE TRACTOR IN STRUCTURE OF MTU, MAKE
SURE THAT THERE ARE NO PEOPLE IN CLOSE VICINITY TO THE TRACTOR INCLUD-
ING THE AREA BETWEEN THE TRACTOR AND IMPLEMENTS OR TRAILERS (SEMI-
TRAILERS) COUPLED!
4.2 Types of implements coupled with tractors “BELARUS-82.3”
According to the type of coupling with tractors «BELARUS-82.3» the implements are
divided into the following types:
- a mounted implement is fixed in three points to the joints of the upper and lower links
of the lift linkage. The tractor can carry the weight of the implement in full when in transport
position. Implement structural components in transport position do not touch the ground con-
tact area. While changing the implement position from operating to transport mode, the point in
which the implement is connected to the tractor is forcedly displaced to the new point along
the vertical;
- semi-mounted implement is fixed in three points to the upper and lower LL joints or
just in two points to the joints of lower LL only. The implement weight is carried partially by the
tractor and mostly by the implement’s wheels (usually by one or two wheels). While changing
the implement position from operating to transport mode, the point in which the implement is
connected to the tractor is forcedly displaced to the new point along the vertical. Two-point ar-
ticulated linkage is effected by way of connection of suspension axis connecting pin to the
lower joints of LL (upper link is not used). It is also possible to use a crossbar from the tractor
or implement kit;
- semi-trailed implement is usually fixed in one point by means of towing eye to the trac-
tor tow hitch. It is also possible to use a two-point articulated connection with lift linkage (upper
link is not used). The implement weight is carried partially by the tractor and mostly by its trav-
eling wheels (usually not less than two wheels). While changing the implement position from
operating to transport mode, position of the point in which the implement is connected to the
tractor remains unchanged. Semi-trailed implements include various vehicles for general and
special purposes: general purpose semi-trailers, tank semi-trailers, dampers, and special pur-
pose semi-trailed vehicles for mechanizing of technological process in the agricultural sector;
- trailed implement is usually connected in one point by means of towing eye to the trac-
tor tow hitch. It is also possible to use a two-point joint connection with the lift linkage (upper
link is not used). The chassis of the implement carries the weight of the implement in full in
transport position; the hitch mechanism (TH or LL) is loaded only by weight of implement con-
nector. While changing the implement position from operating to transport mode, position of
the point in which the implement is connected to the tractor remains unchanged. Semi-trailed
implements include various vehicles for general and special purposes: general purpose semi-
trailers, tank semi-trailers, dampers, and special purpose semi-trailed vehicles for mechanizing
of technological process in the agricultural sector.
