Use the mode “FDAD disengaged” on vehicles when moving on roads with hard
surface with speed above 13 km/h in order to prevent increased wear of front wheel tires.
In the "Automatic FDA Control" position, the FDA drive is automatically engaged
when maximum slipping of rear wheels is exceeded. The FDA drive is automatically dis-
engaged when slipping of rear wheels drops below the permissible level.
Annunciator 4 glows when the FDA drive is engaged and goes out when the FDA
drive is disengaged.
Use the mode of “FDA drive automatic control” at various field works.
The mode of “FDAD automatic control” is deactivated by setting the switch 3 in
“FDA is OFF” position. Herewith, the annunciators 4 will go out.
If there is a necessity of FDA drive positive engagement regardless of rear wheel
slipping, set the switch 3 in position "FDA positive engagement". In this case the FDA drive
is constantly engaged and the annunciator 4 is on. To switch off the positive mode, set the
switch 3 to the position "FDA disengaged", the annunciator 4 will go out.
ATTENTION: IF DURING REVERSE MOVEMENT THERE IS A NECESSITY TO
ENGAGE FDA DRIVE, USE FDA DRIVE POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT. AUTOMATIC FDA
DRIVE CONTROL IS NOT PROVIDED FOR REVERSE MOVEMENT!
ATTENTION: WHEN OPERATING THE TRACTOR IN POOR GRIPPING CONDI-
TIONS WITH SLIPPING OF THE REAR WHEELS, INCLUDING WHEN TURNING, TO
ENSURE SMOOTH FDA ENGAGEMENT, USE ONLY POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT OF
THE FDA, FOR THIS PURPOSE DO THE FOLLOWING:
- STOP THE TRACTOR, DEPRESS THE COUPLING CLUTCH PEDAL;
- SWITCH THE FDA TO "POSITIVE FDA ENGAGEMENT"
- SMOOTHLY RELEASE THE COUPLING CLUTCH PEDAL.
ATTENTION: WHEN PRESSING THE INTERCONNECTED BRAKE PEDALS, AU-
TOMATIC ENGAGEMENT OF FDA DRIVE TAKES PLACE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE SET
MODE (INCLUDING THE MODE “FDA DISENGAGED”)!
ATTENTION: WHEN OPERATING ON ROADS WITH HARD SURFACE IT IS
NECESSARY TO DISENGAGE THE FDA DRIVE IN ORDER TO PREVENT INCREASED
WEAR OF FRONT WHEEL TIRES!
ATTENTION: VIOLATION OF THE OPERATION RULES OF THE FDA DRIVE
CAN LEAD TO FAILURE OF FDA PARTS AND OTHER PARTS OF THE TRANSMIS-
SION!
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO OPERATE THE TRACTOR WITH FDA DRIVE ENGAGED
WHEN THE SPEED OF MOVEMENT IS ABOVE 13 KM/H!
