5.4.5.2 Operation 45. Changing oil in the HLL and HSC conjoint tank, washing the filter
cartridge of the breather of the HLL and HSC tank
Before changing the oil, start the engine briefly for 2 ... 3 minutes to stir oil in the tank.
To speed up the draining of oil from the tank in the cold season, it is recommended to perform
an accelerated warm-up of the oil. To do this, with the engine running, set any of the hydraulic
output control levers to the “raisingposition and hold the lever in this position until the hydrau-
lic system heats up.
To change the oil in the HLL and HSC tank, do the following:
- place the tractor on a level ground, set the RLL links to the lowest position, apply the
parking brake; the engine must be turned off;
- unscrew oil filler plug 1 (figure 5.4.44) and drain plug 4, drain oil from oil tank 3 into a
special container for used oil;
- put back and tighten drain plug 4, fill the system with fresh oil up to the required “П
mark on oil level indicator 2. When using machines that require large oil takeoff, fill in the oil to
the level corresponding to the upper mark “C”.
- put in place and tighten oil filler plug 1.

ter cartridge of the breather of the HLL and HSC tank.
