OPERATION OF THE LOADER ON A SLOPE OF MORE THAN 8 DEGREES IS
FORBIDDEN!
Tractor service brake pedals shall be always interlocked during operation with the
loader.
Avoid abrupt start, abrupt braking, sharp turns and long-term skidding of wheels
during tractor operation with the loader.
When the tractor with the loader attached travels on the public roads, traffic regula-
tions shall be observed.
Before starting to travel on public roads, the loader shall be raised in transport posi-
tion and secured properly.
There is a hazard of spontaneous lowering of the loader. In this respect, after finish-
ing to operate the loader and before leaving the cab, the loader shall be taken to the low-
ermost position and the loader hydraulic mechanism levers shall be fixed in a proper man-
ner.
Mounting and dismounting of the loader shall be carried out only on a level ground
with hard surface.
If the housing of the loader has been exposed to electrical voltage, the tractor driver
shall put the working attachment to the lowermost position, stop the engine, turn off the
battery and leave the cab urgently avoiding touching metal parts of the loader housing.
Before starting loading and unloading operations, the operator shall carry out pre-
paratory inspection of place of work, and take a look at rules and methods of operation
depending on specific conditions.
It is forbidden to let other persons drive the tractor with a loader.
Before starting to drive or engage a reverse it is necessary to give a signal and en-
sure there are no people in the area of loader operation.
Take special care while traveling in the enterprise territory (maximum speed shall
be determined by enterprise standards).
When driving tractor with the loader attached watch obstacles located overhead
(wires, pipelines, arches etc.).
When filling up of the loader bucket avoid striking against obstacles hidden under
the load.
Taking of lump materials shall be carried out by slow cutting into stock pile and sim-
ultaneous turning of the loader bucket.
Operator is not allowed to start handling of loads in the following cases:
- load weight is unknown;
- poor light in the area of operation, loads can hardly be seen;
- surface for the loader to operate on not solid hard and smooth (asphalt, concrete,
paving blocks etc.), or the territory is not cleared of snow and ice, ice-covered ground is
not sanded nor covered with special agent in winter;
- slope of work area, where the loader is to be operated exceeds 8 degrees.
Stop loader operation in the following cases:
- tire puncture or insufficient tire pressure;
- detection of failure in steering, hydraulic or braking system;
- presence of extraneous noises and knocks in engine, chassis, loader working at-
tachments.
