At operation with rear PTO in ground-speed mode, the following shall be taken into
account:
- PTO shaft end extension rotates only when the tractor moves;
- operating tractor speed in structure of machine-tractor unit shall not exceed 8
km/h;
- the direction of rotation of PTO shaft end extension (when looking at PTO shaft
end extension face) is different at reverse and back motion: clockwise at forward motion,
counterclockwise at reversing.
For operation with PTO, remove the protective cap 1 (figure 3.2.1), that covers shaft
end extension 6. For this it is necessary to squeeze the protective cap at its bottom, move
it down and pull. After finishing operating with PTO it is obligatory that you put the protec-
tive cap back, to do this put the cap on the shaft end extension and press it length way till
the cap is securely fixed in the aperture of the plate 2.

To replace the PTO shaft end extension, proceed as follows:
- undo four nuts 3 and remove plate 2 with cap 1;
- unscrew six bolts 4, take off plate 5 and remove shaft end extension 6;
- lubricate the centering pilot with lubricant grease, mount another shaft end exten-
sion into the spline opening, mount plate 5, tighten bolts 4, mount plate 2 and fasten it with
nuts 3.
