6.2.2.3 File names for results files
The file name for results output is generated from the ID code using a configurable mask:
The characters used from the string of the ID code are the ones that are selected in the mask. Empty
spaces and inadmissible characters (see above) are changed to an underscore.

The directories illustrated above are only created if tightening results are to be stored in the corresponding
directory.
When using ID codes, the file name may not be longer than 71characters (three characters for "CH_" or
"FO_", plus a maximum of 64characters from the ID code file, plus the file extension ".txt").

1 The application number or tightening channel number is not part of the file name, but is used as the directory name when the data is stored in
mass storage or in the FTP server (see page 221).
If byte numbers are selected in the mask that are not in the ID code file (in Figure above byte numbers 24
to 26, but the ID code file only contains 22 characters), the file name will be completed with underscores
( _ ).
