Outputting measurement values as binary numbers
The internal results values are scaled so that whole numbers are output. Result values are scaled by being
divided by the values from Table 6–31 (page 275). All binary numbers are output with 32 bits (4 bytes).
The numbers are stored in "big-endian" format, i. e. the larger bytes are stored first.

2 The number of digits before and after the decimal point for the torque and gradient depends on the maximum
torque for the tightening spindle.

1 The number of digits after the decimal point for the torque and gradient depends on the maximum torque for the
tightening spindle (see Table 6–30 (page 274)).
Time t 10 s 0…42 949,67 s (12 h)
Torque M 0.000 01 Nm ± 21 474,836 Nm
Angle of turn A 0.000 1 degree ± 214 748.36 degrees ( 596 revolutions)
Gradient G 0.000 000 1 Nm/°± 214.74836 Nm/°
Speed n 0.000 1 rpm ± 214,748 rpm
Force (ultrasound) F 0.001 N 0 to 4 294 kN
The values output in the 3964R/RK 512 protocol have algebraic signs.
