6.4.4.7 Evaluating the results output
The tightening result of a complete tightening process is always evaluated by means of the quality code
(QC). All other quality codes having the docu step no. 0:, 1:, etc. describe the results of the tightening
steps selected.
• 0: QC identifies the result of the tightening step run through previously
• 1: QC etc.: identifies the docu steps that can be selected (here: docu step 1)

Table 6–55: Meaning of the results in the output area of the data buffer for a single-channel tightening process
Name Results output Meaning of the output result
Example The following is assumed:
• 3-step tightening program (2,A / 3,A / 4,A)
• Result of 2nd tightening step (3,A): NOK, with corresponding QC
• Programmed end step: Loosen if NOK
Result: OK
If the results of the end step are selected as the result of the complete tightening process (option
Tightening results from end step), the result of the complete tightening process is OK. The quality
code for the complete tightening process provides the quality codes configured for OK.
