7.6.1.2 One voltage status LED off
The green LEDs (chapter 4.9.1) controlling power supply are located on the mobile elec-
tronics unit, labeled +5V, +12V and -12V.
Short circuit in the power sup-
ply
Typically, a short circuit is accompanied by a tick-
ing sound in the power supply unit. Disconnect
power supply unit immediately.
If any additional external circuitry is connected to
the CAN bus or MPE port of the mobile electron
-
ics unit, disconnect them and try it again.
If the problem is solved, the external part caused
a short-circuit of the power supply. Otherwise, it is
an internal problem of the spectrometer electron
-
ics. Contact Bruker service.
Defective power supply The power supply unit has to be replaced. If the
LEDs are off, contact Bruker service (chapter
1.5).
