6.8.8 Remounting covers
9 • Compare the line width and the line shape of
the measured spectrum with the spectra in
the test protocol documents supplied.
• In case of any deviation, rotate the align-
ment screws to finely adjust the collimator
mirror tilt.
☞ Use a long hexagon screwdriver and
rotate the screw heads through the open
port.
☞ Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you get the
optimum line shape.
10 • Remove the covers (chapter 6.7.1).
• Remount the blind flange of the direct input port.

1 • Put your hands below the flange of the input port and the diagonally
located hanger.
• Put on the cover of the detector and interferometer block.
➣ Make sure that the two eyelets at the inner edge of the cover are
catched by the two guiding posts which are located on the console.

2 • Insert the trough into of the sample compart-
ment.
• Use a flat-tip screwdriver to fasten the two
knurled thumb screws, located on the bot

tom of the trough.
