6.7.6 Fastening all transport locking screws
During transportation it is of utmost importance that all transport locking screws are tight.
Before remounting the covers, make sure that the transport locking screws are hand
tight.
i
It is important that the locking screws are at least hand tight to ensure that the fixture
units remain in their supporting points during transport. If, however, the locking screws
are tightened too fast, the threads become damaged.
On each fixture unit, the transport locking screw is located within the area of the three
adjusting screws.
Figure 6.6 shows two examples of such transport locking screws.
5 The small viewing window on the rear side
shows that the scanning arm is now pulled
out.
