GTIN Enable
Enables/Disables the ability to convert UPCE, UPCA, EAN8, and
EAN13 labels into the GTIN 14-character format.
NOTE
If add-on information is present on the
base label prior to the conversion
taking place, the add-on information will be appended to the converted
GTIN barcode.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the SWITCH barcode.
2. Scan either the enable or disable barcode below. You’ll need to cover
any unused bar
codes on this and the facing page to ensure that the
scanner reads only the barcode you intend to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence b
y scanning the SWITCH
barcode.
GTIN = DISABLE
GTIN = ENABLE
