Instructions for Use Fabius MRI SW 3.n
z Remove the absorber canister by turning it
clockwise.
z Empty the expired CO
2 absorbent from the
absorber into an appropriate refuse container.
z Fill the absorber with fresh CO
2 absorbent.
1 Fit the absorber canister into position below the
breathing system and turn it counterclockwise
as far as possible.
NOTE
Ensure that no CO2 absorbent dust/particles have
been deposited between the gaskets and sealing
surfaces. Such dust and particles can cause leaks
in the system.
CAUTION
Risk of unintended perioperative awareness
Make sure that during ventilation the absorber
canister is tightly connected to the COSY.
