Caution:
❏ Make sure you turn

the printer, unplug the power cord from the printer, and disconnect any cables before
starting installation. Otherwise, the power cord may be damaged resulting in re or electric shock.
❏ e printer is heavy and should not be lied or carried by less than two people. If any paper cassettes other than
Paper Cassette 1 are installed, uninstall them before liing the printer. When liing the printer, two or more
people should assume the correct positions as shown below.

Important:
❏ Prepare a screwdriver to install and uninstall the optional cassette units.
❏ Use an appropriate size and type of screwdriver. Otherwise, you may not be able to turn the screw or you may
accidentally remove another screw.
1. Turn
o
the printer by pressing the P button, and then unplug the power cord.
2. Disconnect any connected cables.
3. If other optional paper cassette units have been installed, uninstall them using a screwdriver.
