Using both hands, carefully put the used
waste toner bottle into the empty box.

Turn the top of the drum cartridge release
lever on the front left to the left.

Pull the cover towards you.
Note • You can now see the drum cartridge.

Slowly pull the cleaning bar housed within
the LED printhead until it stops. The cleaning
bar is located in the cleaning connection of
drum cartridges D1, D2, D3, or D4 (under
each drum cartridge).
Note • Pull the cleaning bar until the symbol
"zzz" comes out.
Important • Do not draw out the cleaning bar housed
within the machine.

Slowly push back the cleaning bar until it
stops.
Note • Clean the four LED printheads by moving
the cleaning bar back and fourth for 2 to 3
times respectively.
WARNING
z
Never throw a waste toner bottle into
an open flame. Toner may catch fire
and cause burn injuries or explosion.
If you have a used waste toner bottle
no longer needed, contact your local
Fuji Xerox representative for its
disposal.
