Removing the defective heat sink
▶

Remove the residual thermal paste from the CPU surface.

Clean the CPU surface using a lint-free cloth.
Installing the new heat sink

Remove the protective cover on the underside of the new heat sink.

Do not touch the thermal paste on the underside of the heat sink.
