6. DRY CONTACTS AND ALARMS
The POWER+ SA optionally includes:
• Input dry contacts (used to invoke some alarm or action by the P
OWER+ SA).
• Output dry contacts (send an external signal when specific alarm conditions arise).
• Dc current measurement inputs (for measuring battery voltage).
• Temperature sensor input (for connecting a battery temperature sensor).
These special input and output connections are located on the left side of the UPS, under a
small rectangular panel held in place by four screws (Figure 21). To access them, it is
necessary to remove that small panel.
