Using CW-Doppler
1.
Touch
2D
on the user interface to start B-Mode.
2. Touch PW on the user interface to start PW-Mode.
3. Touch CW button to start CW-Doppler Mode.
4. The
CW
menu appears.
Note
The availability of some functions or features depends on the probe and ultrasound system
used.
Menu
Display Format Different options for display arrangement.
RT Trace Real Time Trace on/off
Speed Changes the speed at which the timeline is swept.
Angle
Angle correction. The blood flow velocity calculation based on the incident angle of
the ultrasound onto the axis of the vessel can be determined this way.
Baseline Baseline
can be used to prevent aliasing in one flow direction similar to the PW
Doppler baseline shift. Shifting the baseline enlarges the velocity range in one
direction. The zero line of the color bar is also shifted.
WMF
The Wall motion filter eliminates vessel wall motion noise that is low in velocity but
high in intensity. Use a wall filter that is high enough to remove motion artifacts, but
that is sensitive enough to display low velocity flows in small vessels. Available
settings: low1, low2, mid1, mid2, high1, high2, max1 and max2.
