The Chemistry System failed to
pass one or more of the controls in
its quality control suite (IRISpec
CA™, IRISpec CB™, and IRISpec
CC™).
This condition must be remedied
for the instrument to run more
specimens.
• Run another chemistry control
rack (check the rack label!)
with CA™, CB™, and CC™
tubes. Make sure to place each
tube in the correct location and
not to skip any tubes. Make
sure your controls are authentic
Iris controls. Make sure your
controls are not expired.
o Position 8: IRISpec CA™
o Position 9: IRISpec CB™
o Position 10: IRISpec CC™
• If the failure persists, try
repeating with different bottles
of controls.
• If the failure still persists, run a
Reflectance Check to make
sure the reader is properly
calibrated.
o If the reader is not properly
calibrated, contact your
distributor.
If the failure persists after
performing the steps above, please
call your technical support
representative for further
assistance.
