FMI 7: The net has not been pulled.
The net roll has the wrong di-
mensions.
 Only use net rolls with the prescribed dimensions, refer to
page40.
The net roll has not been cor-
rectly inserted into the roll
holder.
 Insert the net roll according to the description.
For "Net wrapping" version: refer to page80.
For "Net and chamber film wrapping" version: refer to
page82.
 Check in particular the net overhang. Ensure that it is at
least 250mm.
The wrapping material brake
does not release.
 Adjust the wrapping material brake, refer to page150.
 Check the axial play of the wrapping material brake, refer to
page187.
The net is pulled earlier even
though the feed rocker arm is
not yet in feed position.
 Check the sensorB02 "Tying process active".
 Check the sensorB61 "Tying 1 (passive)" and set the feed
position, refer to page136.

Chamber film wrapping

The film roll has the wrong di-

 Use only film rolls with the prescribed dimensions, refer to

The film roll is not correctly in-
serted into the roll holder and/
or the brake force release has
not been set correctly.
 Insert the film roll according to the description, refer to
page82.
 Check and set the brake force release during the feed
process, refer to page149.
The film overhang is too short.
 Check the film overhang. Ensure that it is at least 250mm.
The actuator for wrapping pro-
cess is defective.
 Check the actuator for wrapping process.

Net wrapping
Possible cause Remedy
FMI 7: The net stops during activated tying. The net tears off after the starting process or dur-
ing tying.
The roll brake has been set
with too much force.
 Check the setting of the roll brake.
The cutting unit has lowered
into the net.
 Remove contamination from the cutting unit.
 Check the setting of the cutting unit.
 Check whether the cutting unit is engaged/clamped during
the feed process.
The cutting unit has not en-
gaged.
The cutting unit has been set
too deep.
