The “C minus A” metric provides an indication of the low
frequency content of noise measured by subtracting the A-
weighted equivalent level from the C-weighted equivalent
level.
The integrated levels for L
Aeq
are always calculated using
the linear detector, regardless of the value selected in the
SLM Setup. The LAIeq value is from the impulse detector.
Industrial Hygiene
If the optional Industrial Hygiene firmware is enabled, a
display for sound exposure, two displays for noise dose and
a display for SEA will appear between the Community
Noise and the Number of Measurement screens. These are
discussed in Chapter 9 "Industrial Hygiene” on page 9-1.

The Status page on the Overall tab displays the number of
session log entries, the quantity of each type of measurement
which has been made, the number of sound recording made
and also the memory status for the current measurement
session.
