Model 831 Manual Tab and Setting Displays 3-15
data presented in the Overall View would represent the
measurement since T1 while the Current View would
represent the measurement since T2.
With measurement history enabled, a series of separate
measurements are made based on either manual key
presses or time intervals, depending on the setup used.
The current view will display the data corresponding to
the measurement currently in progress. When that
measurement is complete, the data are transferred to the
measurement view. The current measurement is then
reset and the subsequent measurement begun, at which
time the data for this new measurement is displayed.
Measurement: With Measurement History enabled, the
measurement view can display all the separate
measurements made from the beginning to the end of the
total measurement period.
The 831-ELA firmware option must
purchased and enabled for this tab
to appear.
Events: Basic data associated with measurements
initiated by the trigger criteria are displayed in the view.
When there have been multiple measurements, these data
can be viewed separately.
The 831-LOG firmware option must
be purchased and enabled for this
tab to appear.
Time History: This view displays data measured using
the time history measurement feature.
Additional tabs appear in different instrument modes when
the 831-FFT and 831-RT options are enabled. For more
information, refer to the "FFT and Tonality" and "RT-60"
chapters.
Measurement Settings Tabs
The Measurement Settings tabs allow for specific settings.
From any data tab, press the Menu softkey, select Settings
and press
5 to open the settings tab for the current
measurement. You can navigate from tab to tab by pressing
the left and right Softkeys.
Because the screen is not wide
enough to show tall Measurement
Settings tabs at the same time, use
the Right and Left Softkeys to scroll
the view to the right or left
respectively.
•\General: used to create a file name and a measurement
