Clearing the Configuration
4.7.9 Deleting a Virtual Drive with SSD Caching Enabled
You can delete a virtual drive that has SSD caching enabled on it.
Perform the following steps to delete the virtual drive:
1. In the VD Mgmt screen, navigate to a virtual drive. and press the F2 key.
2. Select Delete VD, and click Ye s.
The following message dialog appears.

NOTE If you select the Force delete to complete quickly check box to
delete the virtual drive, the data is not flushed before deleting the
virtual drive. In this scenario, if you create this virtual drive after
deleting it, there will be no data available.
3. Press Ye s to proceed with the delete operation.
4.8 Clearing the Configuration
You can clear all the existing configuration on virtual drives by deleting the virtual drives.
Perform the following steps to clear configuration:
1. In the VD Mgmt screen, navigate to the controller, and press the F2 key.
2. Navigate to Clear Configuration and press Enter.
The following dialog appears.
