Diverter spring removal
1 Remove the rear cover. See “Rear cover removal” on page 318.
2 Using a spring hook, detach the diverter spring from the diverter and from the redrive.
Diverter cover removal
1 Firmly grasp both sides of the diverter cover.
2 Pull the cover away from the scanner, and remove.
