• Connection piping between the expansion chamber and muffler must be made of 7.6 cm (3.0 in.) O.D. tubing. Tubing must
be either 5052 or 6061 (14 gauge) aluminum or type 304 (14 gauge) stainless steel to protect against corrosion.
• Flange assembly (two required) or equivalent through transom fittings may extend 12.7 cm (5 in.) below the waterline for quiet
idle operation. Exhausting under a swim platform or other horizontal surface may cause transmission of noise and vibration
to the boat during operation.
