9. Cut the cable tie securing the low‑pressure fuel pump harness connectors, the lift pump connectors, the high‑pressure fuel
pump wire harness, and the water sensor wire harness to the low‑pressure fuel pump bracket.

10. Remove the engine harnesses from behind the low‑pressure fuel pump hose.
11. Remove the screw securing the VST ground to the plenum.
12. Remove the three screws and washers securing the VST to the plenum.
a - Screw and washer
b - Ground screw
c - Water sensor connector
VST Disassembly
1. Remove the two metal hose clamps securing the lift pump to water separating filter fuel hose to the fittings. Remove the hose
from the fittings.
