A0: Printer device error
Causes:
Printer register FPGA .
Suggested corrective action:
1. Turn the power off and on.
2. Replace the main control board.
A1: Print head connection error
Detail code:
1: No LED-print head connection while machine returns from power saving mode
2: No LED-print head connection while machine starts a print job
Suggested corrective action:
1. Turn the power off and on.
2. Check the connection between the LED-print head and main control board.
4.4 System error
"System error" is followed by a two-digit code that indicates the cause of the error.
Code Error Solution
01 Startup system error A circuit board or SD card has a problem.
Replace the main control board, the SD card, or the panel
board. (Panel board is for MFX-3595 only)
02 Billing data access error Billing data write error has occurred.
Replace the main control board.
03 Firmware incorrect Model and market information on main control board
does not match with those information on SD card.
Store the firmware to the SD card with the same model
and market information to the main control board.
EEPROM cannot read/write correctly Because EEPROM cannot read/write correctly, model
and market information are judged fault.
Check the connecting point of Tag board on toner or
drum cartridge and the machine.
Check that P15 terminal on main control board is not
bent.
04 Printer FPGA configuration error Cannot communicate with the printer FPGA on the main
control board.
Turn the machine off and then on. When the error occurs
again, replace the main control board.
06 PDL enabler error PDL enabler is of a wrong model. Print speed information
and maximum paper size information of the machine and
enabler do not match.
Mount a correct enabler for the machine model.
