Sorting mechanism (MFX-3595 only)
When finishing the printouts using the shift sort function, every second set of the printouts will be shifted 1
inch off to the horizontal direction and ejected on the exit tray.

Paper exit direction
When the trailing edge of paper is nipped only by the exit roller assy, the shift motor drives, and the exit roller
assy will be shifted to its shift position. When the paper is ejected, the exit roller assy re turns to its original
position. The machine detects that the roller have returned to its original position by the shift sensor (HP sen-
sor).
